The Grange Park sub group, with help and advice from the main HWRA group, have submitted an official letter of objection to both applications. We also met with the planning officers at Charnwood Borough Council (CBC) and representatives of Parkers, the developers, to discuss our objections and listen to their responses. For more information please click the link.
We understand that has just received the report on the possible traffic issues from the Highways Authority. We are very hopeful that the application will not be recommended by the CBC planning department, but it is likely that the application will go to committee on 23 May 2013. If this happens then we are planning to speak at the Planning Committee meeting to put forward our objections in front of the committee. Anyone is welcome to attend the Planning Committee meeting on 23 May but should book with the planning team to ensure a place, as they will refuse entry once the room is full. This can be done by contacting the Planning team.
